This pleasantly ostentatious costume crown will make it very clear who is king of the castle. The adult size is plenty large enough for any grown-up. It's sturdier than expected, with plush red velvet and fluffy white fur. The gold and gems are where it may fall a bit short of fit for a king. The braided loops are inconsistently sized and the gold band running the circumference of the hat needs to be re-glued. Those minor flaws would be less noticeable from a distance, so this could be a good choice for plays or other scenarios where you're looking for bold suggestion rather than subtle perfection.
This kids hat looks pretty good, but needs some of the beads adjusted. It fit my 4 year old's head nicely and looks decently comfortable for him to wear. It's an exciting dress up/photo op piece, but it's not sturdy enough to just hand over to the kids to play for long with.
So, I thought I was ordering a kid's cheap-y costume piece, but this thing is actually very impressive. It's high quality (for the price, it definitely should be :p) AND sturdy. It caught me by surprise when I unboxed it
This crown is so great! I ordered it for my partner to let him know that he is "king" of my heart! He loved it! I get the feeling that I, along with our guests, are going to see it often. I'm sure that we will also get a lot of use out of it for costume parties. It looks exactly like it looks in the picture, and is strong enough to use many, many times. We are going to have a lot of fun with this purchase, for sure!
Well made and stands up nicely! The details really make it stand out. I read the reviews and ordered the kid size for my 9 year old (who wears a 10/12) and it barely fits his head. There’s no way he can wear it without it falling off. I wish I had just gone with my gut and ordered an adult size for him. The kid size is definitely for under 7/8 years old. It fits my 4 year old great as a dress up.
