Nice heavy duty badge. I was dressing up as a Criminal Investigator. I didn't use the chain. I used the clip on the back and it worked great 👍🏻

This badge looks great! It's about 4" tall and can be used for people of all ages. It comes with a chain and a removable clip so it can be worn different ways. The badge is metal and the mount is leather. If the chain is too long, you can clip it to be shorter. I doubt the chain is hypoallergenic for those of you with metal allergies, but it can be easily replaced. I'm very happy with both the look and quality of this badge. I highly recommend it.
This badge was great for a police officer costume (to go along with my donut costume :D)It was quite high quality for the price. The external case is faux leather that seems quite durable and the badge itself is actually real metal. So it has a great weight and sturdiness.The necklace it comes attached to is kind of a standard metal link necklace that holds up fine for normal use. Im sure with a decent amount of force it could be broken. It is probably the most flimsy part of the badge.The clip was not so bad on mine and held the badge onto clothing nicely. This play police badge is perfect for dress-up or Halloween costumes. It has a long chain (about 17"), so it can be worn hanging from neck. It's well-made and rather heavy-duty, so it might be a little heavy hanging from the neck of a younger child. It also features a belt clip. This is one of the few items I have found in my hunt for a police costume that is appropriate for child's play, but suitable as an accessory for an adult costume, as well. I'd buy it again.

This badge worked well for a Seeley Booth costume this Halloween. (FBI agent from the show “Bones.”) It can be worn on the included chain or clipped to a belt. It’s a reasonable size for teens to adults.
