This kids hat looks pretty good, but needs some of the beads adjusted. It fit my 4 year old's head nicely and looks decently comfortable for him to wear. It's an exciting dress up/photo op piece, but it's not sturdy enough to just hand over to the kids to play for long with.

The Dress Up America, Red Velvet Royal Crown - Costume King Hat for Adults is a well made costume piece which can be used for staged productions and Halloween costumes. I ordered this hat since I frequently play the part of a King in an Allegorical play for a local fraternity and it is nice to have my own Crown to use rather than use the one supplied to the cast.The fabric of the crown is a nice velvet and the gold colored banding is attractive. The faux fur rim and jewels add a comforting feel to the hat. I wear a xl hat (6-3/4") and it fits me well. I think it would cover the ears of a young adult if it were to be tried.The only downside is the bright white color of the band will be difficult to keep clean over time but with care it should last a long time. The instructions say "spot clean".I recommend this purchase.

Size says kids but I would say this would only fit older kids. Maybe around 8 or so yrs. Nice looking materials with a regal appearance. Roughly 6.5" inner diameter.

This pleasantly ostentatious costume crown will make it very clear who is king of the castle. The adult size is plenty large enough for any grown-up. It's sturdier than expected, with plush red velvet and fluffy white fur. The gold and gems are where it may fall a bit short of fit for a king. The braided loops are inconsistently sized and the gold band running the circumference of the hat needs to be re-glued. Those minor flaws would be less noticeable from a distance, so this could be a good choice for plays or other scenarios where you're looking for bold suggestion rather than subtle perfection.

So, I thought I was ordering a kid's cheap-y costume piece, but this thing is actually very impressive. It's high quality (for the price, it definitely should be :p) AND sturdy. It caught me by surprise when I unboxed it

This crown is so great! I ordered it for my partner to let him know that he is "king" of my heart! He loved it! I get the feeling that I, along with our guests, are going to see it often. I'm sure that we will also get a lot of use out of it for costume parties. It looks exactly like it looks in the picture, and is strong enough to use many, many times. We are going to have a lot of fun with this purchase, for sure!

Well made and stands up nicely! The details really make it stand out. I read the reviews and ordered the kid size for my 9 year old (who wears a 10/12) and it barely fits his head. There’s no way he can wear it without it falling off. I wish I had just gone with my gut and ordered an adult size for him. The kid size is definitely for under 7/8 years old. It fits my 4 year old great as a dress up.

I ordered this anticipating it was a play crown that would collapse or fold up on itself. Was pleasantly surprised to see it is very well constructed and will maintain its shape. It is an adult size item. My smaller adult head holds it up but it could fall down over my ears/eyebrows if I moved around too much. If you have need for an adult sized crown I have no doubt this will not disappoint. The red felt is nice, the white rim is fluffy and it's nicely lined on the inside as well for comfort. This is a definite thumbs up!! Great option for any "dress up king or queen".

This velvet crown should be the standard marker that all costumes and accessories should look to meet. It doesn't look cheaply made and feels like high quality fabric and construction. It fits perfectly and I like that it has an interior lining that allows it to sit very comfortably hig atop your head.A fantastic addition to accessorize your costume, a special hat for a birthday king, or an addition to an adult or child's fun pretend play costume dress up bin.
