Octopus Costume

Get ready for some serious fun with this costume! I was a bit worried my big ol' 25" noggin wouldn't fit, but it did, and visibility inside the head piece is actually pretty good. It's soft, lightweight, and comfy—no need to stress about wearing it for a while. You can control two octopus arms, which is a nice touch.
Plus, it's quick to put on and take off, which is always a bonus. I'm totally rocking this for Halloween and just for laughs around the house. If you're into easy, vibrant costumes, this is a winner! It's well-made, comfortable, and just plain fun.
One thing to note, though—at 6'1", the tentacles don't quite hit the floor for me, so if you're on the shorter side, they might drag a bit. But honestly, it's a small thing compared to all the other awesome features. Get ready to make a splash with this crazy cool octopus costume!

This costume is so adorable and lots of fun! The head space is adjustable for adults and children alike! It’s a little difficult to see, though that’s to be expected. It’s really well made and lots of fun! It packs up nicely too when not in use!

I ordered this Dress Up America “Octopus Costume - Squid Costume - Adults Funny Halloween Fish Costume” because I’m a weirdo and thought this looked like an awesome costume! It is large, fitting adults. The tentacles fall nearly to the floor on a 5’9” adult. The costume is soft and plush, like a stuffed animal. There is a small hole that I will have to sew in the inside of the head that spilled out a good bit of stuffing, just when trying it on. Two of the tentacles have pouches for you to place your hands and move them around, octopus style. It looks cool. Unfortunately the mesh eye hole is very small, and the wearer’s vision is severely limited. Don’t plan to wear this and walk around. But if you are just making an appearance or wearing it while stationary, it’s a unique costume. That being said, 79.99 list when ordered is more than twice what it’s worth to me.

Overall this costume is pretty cool. When it came I put it on and my kids LOVED it! My wife rolled her eyes but upon further inspection, commented that it is very well made, which it is.

My only complaint is that it is very difficult to see out of. The screen that you look out is good, but there is padding in the head that fills in and allows the costume head to sit on top of yours and in theory, your eyes line up with the screen. In practice though, the padding inside the costume is shaped weirdly causing it to not sit right. I thought maybe it was out of alignment so tried to move it and "squish" it the best I could, but it didn't move much. I was able to get it somewhat useable and I can see for the most part, but in my opinion, it could be a bit better.

Overall, a pretty cool costume though and I can't wait for Halloween now!

I wish I could give this 100 stars. I’m having a rough time after saying goodbye to our dog. When a giant octopus costume arrived at my door, the sadness melted away (for a minute). I decided to try gluing rhinestones to it, and it worked! This is a great distraction for me. It’s a sparklepus. I have a sparklepus costume in the making. This costume is a great way to chase away the blues. And possibly cat burglars.
